Lake Toba is a volcanic island and was created 70,000 years ago through the giant eruption of the volcano. It is located at about 1000 meters altitude and is the center of batak culture. The inhabitants of the island of Toba Village are called batak toba. The main religion is Christianity. Weddings and funerals are paired with great ceremonies and rituals
Toba Village Inn collaborates with the local tourism service bureau and pramu wisata which preserves Lake Toba samosir Island and its tourist destinations. We also offer Dutch speaking tours. If you want to explore the island of samosir, we also help you to be able to rent motorcycles and bicycles.
Kuarang more than 3 kilometers from our hotel, located Ambarita, where you will find a megalithic tradition, batak village complete with stone handmade chairs where once used as beheading criminals. Approximately 20 kilometers from the hotel, is a village Simanindo where traditional batak dance is played and batak stories first. Approximately 45 Kilo meters from the hotel, is Pangururan hot springs, you can swim in it. Only 10 km from the hotel,located Tomok village, where you will find there the grave of King Sidabutar very famous once as a king who had supernatural powers. In the same area you find the sellers of handicrafts .There are also other destinations such as isolated waterfalls in the village and you can reach them by boat or speed boad.

Breakfast is available from 07:00 am to 10:00 am in the restaurant. The restaurant is open whole day till 22:00pm. We offer asian dishes aswel as european dishes. Examples of the menu are chicken, fish and Indonesian rendang. The menu is very extensive and we have professioinal peaple in the kitchen. Lobster from lake toba is also one of our specialities.
